• Comments: Don't know what possessed me to do this. Blame watching Akira and DBZ in the same day. I couldn't help noticing a lot of similarities between Tetsuo and Vegeta. Considering Akira came out in 1988 and DBZ 1989, I wondered if Akira didn't have any direct influences on Vegeta's character. YES, I know the manga for DB came out before that, but it's the voices that were the most striking. The voice actor for Tetsuo is about an octave higher, but they are still very similar. Espcially the laugh. I had to include that!
  
  This took me like FOREVER to do. It's a lot easier when you just have one soundtrack like music going and you sync to it. Multi soundtracks ripped from the DVD itself is HARD, especially when you are trying to synch them together. I was NUTS to start it, but it was fun.
  
  Believe it or not there is lip synching in it. I had the problem at the end of how to have Vegeta talking, Akira talking, but Kurrinin singing over both. So, I had to rip the Brolly soundtrack, then lay a clip that was silent from Brolly, then re-synch it to the sountrack. That way I could move to the Akira clip without any editing clicks or interruption in Kurrinin singing.
  
  One thing I'm frustrated about. I included that this has anime from Akira and for some reason the Akira listing doesn't show up. When I tried to edit it, it wouldn't let me. Grrrr!
