• Comments: It's categorized as a romance vid. However, it's not romance in the common sense of the word. It's closer to anti-romance. Keep in mind, that it would be more beneficial to have seen the Escaflowne movie before seeing this video. Only then can you appreciate the irony of the events taking place here. An obsessed lover refuses to accept that the girl he is pursuing does not love him in return. As a result, the man goes insane, and will not let her leave, dragging them both into the depths of their own individual hells. This particular piece is quite personal to me, because I believe it reflects on my own attitudes about love and being loved in return. It's also for all the other poor souls who have fallen for another person, and have not had their feelings reciprocated. Whether you love or hate the romance genre... I believe this one transcends the typical idea of what a romance video should be. And here's the lyrics if you think you're up to singing along with Rob D's deep, harsh vocals.
