Main idea: Escaflowne was only a dream where Hitomi's. The angel symbolises beloved person but there are two angels. Which is the false of them? The conflict of love make her conciousness to create images of destruction and war. Hitomi can't handle this and awakes but she can't leave her dream of Escaflowne and want them to come back.
