• Comments: Everyone gets silly at the thougt of this video. I'm just glad I did it before anyone else had the chance to. I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a better version than I did before I do, though... But the point is, mine is floating around and being talked about. This was my contest submission for AnimeNorth 2003 and I made it to the finals. I guess they separated the ones that didn't have a chance to the ones that were better than the ones that didn't have a chance but it was so cool. First, I had the murmurs of those who must have thought I was submittimg the same video as the exhibition but the squeals and "ooh's" that I got when the words "Smooth Criminal" showed up were enough to know that I had at least half of the audience's attention. The squeals and laughs were so gratifying! And the roars of applause at the end!!! (I should have turned around. Apparently, people stood up to applaude me.) It's true, I made 3 versions of this video, but 50 hours is about all that went into this verion (this includes the other 2) I am truly proud of this piece. the only true reason I would do another is to a) use clean footage (ripped, not captured, this includes red, not black blood) and b) a chance to make it less flourished. Too much video, I found with the overlays. The only reason I did it was because there was a lot of story to tell in very little time. Wait till I get the nerve to make another "So Many Men" AMV (last time, my HD died. Note to back up frequently) If you like, lemme know.
