  • Comments: I had a lot of fun making this video, namely becase of how much editing of the clips I had to do. In the moment where the song has the lyric 'baby' in it, I showed Kid with her head on Serge's shoulder, and then she kind of looks at him with a strange glance. Mom was watching it and immediately said "They were gonna kiss, weren't they?". Boy was she shocked when I told her what really happened at that scene.

Anyways, to the footage process. I had to make quite a few phone calls to get this game, and it took even longer to find the time to rip the movies off and label them. Even when I had the footage, I wasn't sure just what the crap I was gonna put in the movie. I didn't even have to song figured out. About the time that I was ripping the movies though, I started listenening to South Park's 'Come Sail Away' version where Eric Cartmen sings it. After that, I decided to download it and see if it was as good as it sounds. Hell, I listen to it at school now I love it so much.

The quick eye will catch a few capture mistakes. Although the quality is good, Windows Movie Maker has this annoying habit of putting about 0.4 seconds of the previous scene into the current scene. This means that a split second before the scene change, you might catch a white flash of some sort from another movie. I tried to find them all, but a few of them inevitably stayed.

The general feel of the movie is supposed to be slow until the guitar sets in. A lot of footage was repeated in this movie, but I hope you can forgive me for that. There just wasn't enough movie to go with this song. Especially, the hard part was when he would talk about the angels. What the crap was I supposed to use for that? I just put the appropriate clips in and hoped for the best. The captions go on for way too long at the end as well.

This video is in memory of Trevor Haag, my friend Justin's little brother. Wherever you are Trevor, I hope your sailing the right way.
