• Comments: Flame of Recca was one of the first anime I watched (back in the stone age of online anime, when we had to wait an hour on a 14k modem to download a 20MB RealPlayer file. In ten feet of snow, uphill both ways. Or something.) so it's one of my favorites by default, and I can't really be impartial. I can't tell if I would like it or not if I watched it for the first time now.
  
  I'm inclined to think I would, because although it's sometimes compared with Dragonball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho, and dismissed as a formulaic fighting anime (which okay, yeah, it is), it's lots of fun, and it has great characters.
  
  Mikagami was at one point my number one bishie crush, and I think Koganei ran a close second. So, being the rabid, unrepentant fangirl I am, I like them together. XD
  
  This vid was made with an intended yaoi/shounen ai bent, though it may be hard to tell, as all they do here is fight. ^.^; Meddle not in the affairs of fangirls for you are cute, and look good with other men.
