After I finished my Bat Out Of Hell 2 AMV I decided to do some more Evangelion AMVs, while thinking of what AMVs sets to do I decided that I should remake some of my old AMVs. I was planing on remaking my very first AMV a year after it was released but I guess at the time I never had the time to do it since I was worrying about other things. But I felt this time around I should remake it. I guess I wanted to do it after I got my new computer, when I got my new computer I went and took three weeks to plan and capture/recapture the clips that I wanted. I guess I came in there with a blind sight, the ideas I had for how I was going to remake the AMV sor tof shattered when I started doing it then and there, ideas were boucing off my head that made my former plans look like crap. I went with them and another two weeks later which today would be the day (Oct 26) I have finished the remake of Gendou The Asshole the remake of my very first AMV. This version is much more of what the original should have been and more. When I did Gendou The Asshole 2 years ago I had little or no experience in AMV making, I was pretty much using a cpature card that I didn't understand, a video editing program that I was learning but I guess didn't allow me total freedom of what to do (didn't have Adboe Premeire then) so I just done my best with what i had at the time and I guess when I look back at it I shun away at it. But this version brings a much better smile to my face since now close to two years later I have gained some experience in the field, got a better editing program and better ideas and how to present them than I did two years ago. Like all my AMVs I went through some programs, one being the texturize problrem, in the begining much of the chorus parts or background singer parts were supposed to have people in the background of the original clip looking like they are singining it (wont spoil it) but since the transition/special effect wasn't working with me I had to improvise and that I did. In most of all cases I am much more satisfied with this version than the original, at least for another two years.

Since everyone who knows Gendou Ikari from Evangelion I think most of everyone thinks he is an asshole. Since there are so many Auska, Shinji, Rei and so on tribute videos. I thought I would make my own little tribute too the real asshole of Evangelion, Gendou Ikari. This is also my very first video as you can see. Using ATI Rage All In Wonder 128 and Video Wave version 4. It also took me 4 days(48 hours in total mostlty, other 48 hours sleeping) to do it since I was learning to use Videowave and I was also learning to record clips I needed of tape to put on the music video. I also get away with some lip syncing in some parts(but done sort of bad). As you see it is kind of a bad video but you have to remember this was my first video. So if you were going to strike some pity into any of my videos I rather this one.
