This video uses footage from the D4 Princess series, which is only available in the U.S. through fan subs. I got the idea of making this music video after completing this series, as I was watching the end credits of the final episode by the way. So, for those of you who have actually seen this anime all the way through, consider this an extended/alternate version of those end credits.
If you have heard the music of U2, but have never heard all, or any of The Joshua Tree, you are missing out on one of the best albums out there, it's definitely one of the best the band has ever made. The song used, One Tree Hill, is one of the lesser know U2 tunes, yet it's still a great song. The song was written in remembrance of a friend of the band, so it makes sense to use it for this anime, especially for it's second half.
At the beginning of the AMV, there is total silence. I did this to make the video more dramatic, but I don't think it really worked the way it should. It's kind of the same thing I did with my previous video, only longer. Another thing I should point out is that since the original video source came from subtitled VHS tapes, I had to crop most of the images to get rid of the text. If you've never seen the series though, the differences aren't that noticeable.
At some point in the future, I hope to aquire the Region 2 DVDs of this series so that I can have some decent footage in order to make a remastered video of high quality. Until then, look forward to my other video projects.
