• Comments: I had the itch to make another video after my last one six months ago. Initially the plan was to have it be about Tenma and Karasuma (as I had already covered Harima in an Eri video) but Karasuma's expressionless demeanour and lack of significant presence in season 2 meant I needed to pivot. Between that and really wanting an excuse to use the Mackerel Missile Massacre clips, I settled on Harima's crush on Tenma.
  
  For process, I again used zero transitions or effects of any kind. I'm in an exclusive relationship with the Blade tool.
  
  Still armed with only an old DVD of School Rumble Season 2 (I did get Disc 1 back though!) and a cheap external CD drive, the quality might not be great, I apologize.
  
  This one is dedicated to the three or four people on Team Tenma - whoever you are. Keep uh, being you? I have to admit while she's far from my favourite character, working on this AMV really aided in my appreciation of her character.
  
  This video is pretty straightforward - the first half is basically just showing Harima going nuts over Tenma, with images of her egging him on to finally come out and confess basically, presumably imagined. However, the stress starts to get to him and he needs to distance himself because every time they're together it tears him apart reading into her enthusiastic friendliness one way or the other. He escapes into rose-coloured fantasies and dreams of him and Tenma together instead of confronting his feelings and making a move. Unsurprisingly, the real Tenma notices Harima being distant and avoiding her, which depresses her. Harima realizes he's hurt her and rushes to make his amends. However, at the end of the video we're given a little tease - perhaps Harima's crush was not so onesided after all, or maybe it isn't anymore? This calls into question the rest of the video - a first time viewer will likely interpret the piece as being from Harima's perspective, but is this maybe a duet instead?
  
  At one point in the production I fiddled with the idea that Harima confessed, and Tenma reciprocated. But he was in love with the idea of loving her, and can't handle the commitment - he tries to avoid her with the hopes that it will all blow over, but this is incredibly confusing and painful for Tenma. He ends up realizing what he's doing is cruel, and mans up to go be by her side. I think this theme is still present as a valid interpretation, but it wasn't the final one I settled on.
  
  One final random minor thing in the video nobody will probably notice but me: shortly after the 0:30 mark when Harima is on the ground, the timer on the camcorder hits 2, 3 in time with the music.
