• Comments: Summer 2021 has come and gone like a Ganymede rock lobster floating into the void of space. I originally conceived the idea of putting Episode 11 "Toys in the Attic" to Weird Al's parody of Livin' on the Edge by Aerosmith back in 2007-08. It would not be until 12 years later that I thawed this idea out of cold-storage...
  
  I had thought of doing this project when I returned to making AMVs in 2020, but put it on a shortlist for sometime this year. Although I had initiated pre-production two months ago, I didn't have any plan on how it would turn out. Once I figured out the intro, everything started falling into place, and the timeline developed organically as I applied my special techniques. When I started the project, I had not thought of any gimmicks to use, but then I came up with Spike's intro scene; which leads up to Ed being the true sleeper like she was in the show! My favorite thing was mickey-mousing many of the clips and jump cuts, emphasizing the scenes as an encapsulation of the overall plot.
  
  I feel certain many anime fans and otaku don't need any refreshers on this series or this particular episode. For them, I hope they can see the effort I made to give tribute to one of my favorite shows. For anyone who've never seen COWBOY BEBOP, especially Episode 11, I hope this inspires them to give it a go. Its more than just an anime.
