• Comments: DBZ x Metallica . . . What more would you ask for? When I was a kid, for me, there was nothing better than combining my favorite show with my favorite heavy metal band. I even got into AMVs because of both. The first AMVs I ever saw were of DBZ, and the first AMVs I ever attempted were put to Metallica songs (and Linkin Park).
  
  What more could I say about this project? It was another labor of love? Certainly one I pulled (for you) from my never-before-seen proto-projects. Before I ever had a website, before my first upload here at AMV.org, I made a video to this song using the 3 Broly movies, plus a few of the others. I really enjoyed how [Re:Start My Heart] turned out and I wanted to bring that energy to one of my first ideas.
  
  I did my best to recapture some of the best moments I originally had intended. It was an intense production period, taking up all of May to complete. Technically, the project was started during the last week of April if ya wanna count a pre-production phase. Don't even get me started on post-production, unless ya wanna get me started. I had a lot fun with this project, and I hope you can see it. Especially with my focus on the timing and jump cuts; my favorite scenes to work on were the ones featuring Vegeta, including the final end scene. There is minor lip sync, which I kept to a minimum for humor and not as the focus. The majority of the timeline was set in a way to match as closely to my vision of what I wanted to feature in this project, a lot of additions and quite a bit of retractions, all made to keep my original idea while applying years of experience. I am glad I took my time with this AMV. And I really hope anyone reading this will consider supporting this video in the 2022 Viewers' Choice Awards! I'm feeling rather confident about my style and I hope anyone that watches will have as much fun watching it as I did making it. Enjoy!!
