• Comments: This was my very first AMV, so there is a bit of a story behind it:
  
  In 1996-1997 I ran a small anime club in Atascadero, CA. After veiwing a tape of AMVs by an old fansub group called PsychoKOR, me and a couple of friends had this great idea to try a video ourselves. I had a concept already mostly planned out, so we stayed up one night and did it. Two VCRS, my old stereo boombox with the audio out, a hadwritten script for the timing and a stopwatch. Oh yeah...it sucked.
  
  We showed the video at a meeting of the anime club at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (Minna No Anime), where it was actually rather well recieved, but then I joined the Army, and fanvidding was forgotten for a few years.
  
  Towards the end of my tour with the Army, I had the urge to start vidding again. I had been downloading vids by Doki Doki, Kusoyaro, Kevin Caldwell and othewrs and couldn't resist the pull. I bought a video capture card and a copy of Ulead 6.0 and started again. I actually took a week of leave, locked myself in my barracks room and taught myself Ulead. As my first project, I dusted off that old 3x3 Eyes video and decided to remaster it digitally and spruce it up.
  
  Here is the result. It's still not an especially great video in my opinion. It's a bit too slow in parts given the speed of the music, and the video quality sucks because I used a crappy MJPEG codec to capture. Someone told me the fuzzy scan lines actually added atmosphere, but I think she was just being nice. :P
