Comments:
This was a Opening Intro video for the Yaycon 2011 AMV competition that was held in (Event building Katak) Enschede (The Netherlands). I was also competing this AMV contest which was a nice experience to see other new AMV editors to compete. I also made this promo video for this year AMV competition at Yaycon.
THE EDITING PROCESS:
The AMV itself has been created by 2 AMV editors FateTSC (Timmie) & dnstje (Wesley) Wesley part was the laser part but in real life the laser effects were much better then the version that I have here. Its a actually a Laser overlay Wesley has scanned the laser effect and then make them negative like a overlay effect. Now that the Laser is not so spectacular as usual. Its still worth to watch it.
TIMMIE'S PROCESS:
My part was the editing and the 3D Motion Graphics with some Genres names description like DANCE, DRAMA, ACTION, COMEDY etc. The concept was also done by me which I was really satisfied with the end result.
Well about the AMV itself I came with this IDEA after I watched Dexter Laboratory a while ago last month actually I already had in mind what I want with the opening Theme. To start a 3D intro with a design of a LAB because I saw at the Yaycon site that the theme of this year was LETS Experiment. Then the editing process began for me.
THE STORY:
After the 3D intro the system in the AMV is going to login my username and password which I can go further to continue the video. Which it goes to many different genres of AMV's this is a way to show the public what kinds of Genres AMV's you can edit. B-complex beautiful Lies was a good choice to edit a AMV with this piece of music which I had a Trailer effect.
Lets experiment this!
