Here be my "serious" entry for Anime Weekend Atlanta's Pro contest.
It's also my first solo multi-source video. But I certainly didn't want it to be random at all. I tried to connect the different shows with an underlying story as per my "style."
I think that listening to music can summon a mood or emotions to anyone who listens, so much so that it's universal.
That idea is what I was going with in showcasing the various relationships in the shows I used. We have Hachiko from Nana, who learns that her boyfriend is cheating on her and then tries to get over this with Nobu.
We've got Carrie and George from Parakiss who can never seen to get it right but love to be with each other.
There's poor Ayu from Honey and Clover who faces unrequited love with Yamada. (But Ayu GLORIOUSLY gets a chance at happiness with Nomiya. [Guess who I'm rooting for in that scenario])
And at the heart of it, you've got Koyuki singing his blues out over Mahou.
Yep.
