Comments:
*This project was initially based off of and inspired by an anime intro to the video game "NamcoxCapcom".*
After a long time in the making, it's pretty much done. I've spent a very long time making this and to be honest, I could stretch production of this amv for the next 10 years if I wanted to. But because I've decided to move onto other projects and things in general, I figured it's about time to call this quits.
The point of this amv is simple. In the end, it's nothing more than a selection of various cross-over clips & scenarios I've had the urge to make over the years set to a song. At first, I tried to only make cross over clips to things I thought other people would want to see. But after a couple years of doing that, things changed. I came to the conclusion that it was a shitty idea -- especially since I'm not exactly getting paid for this. Over time, I ended up making cross over clips that my friends and I wanted to see instead. Ultimately, it became a lot more fun to work on that way.
Admittedly, the end result leaves some content that's bound to go over the viewers head if they're not familiar with the anime this amv incorporates. So if you have any questions, feel free to pm me. Some ideas were a lot more random than others.
Having said that, I think it's only fair I shed some light onto 3 of the most important points to this amv's plot.
-the most important character in this amv is actually a character with very little screen time. (she's the very first character shown -- Haruhi Suzumiya) Her powers over the universe were the only plot device I needed to provide some kind of conceivable explanation as to how all of these characters could come together in this new world. If something doesn't make sense, just blame it on her.
-The main good guys are S-CRY-ed's Kazuma and Scrapped Princess's Raquel. These characters were originally chosen because they were suggested by various people to have been really good leaders. Plus, I ended up really liking both of these characters anyways.
-The main bad guy of this amv is Bleach's Aizen. I chose him for a several reasons. He's extremely smart, cunning, powerful, and his special ability is among one of the most hax trickz I've ever seen a fictional character possess to date. To be honest, I'm not even sure people fully comprehend just how cheap his ability is. (It's an ability that has inspired a lot of ideas for future projects btw)
Plus he hasn't been defeated within the anime/manga he's from. So his all-powerful image hasn't been completely shattered as of yet. Last but not least, I'm gay for Aizen. He's quite literally my favorite anime character at this present time.
The last thing I wanted to mention is that the footage which plays during the ending credits is an early concept edited to feel like a next episode preview. Everything shown is subject to change. It was included just to keep the viewer entertained while I gave credit to all the anime I used.
