  Back when the original "On. With. The Show" was in the planning stages, I watched Moulin Rouge and had the idea for this video. At the time, I thought about doing both and releasing them sequentially, but two things stopped me. First, I was planning the vids for Dragon*Con 2007 at the time, and I knew that I would only have the time to make one more AMV before I started working on the contest ones. Second, a reprise by nature comes later than the original by some significant amount of time, so it didn't make sense to release them one after another.
  
  Over a year seems like more than enough time to wait.
  
  Anyway, this vid relies more on the music than the images to show what it shows. The idea I was going for was that, with everything that happened in the main series, once End of Evangelion rolls around, everything that happens next does so because there is no way to stop it. The instigators were a surprise, but the events are inevitable.
  
  And there are quiet moments among the chaos.
  
  And there are violent moments among the chaos.
  
  And the end that comes is not what was expected.
  
  But no matter what, the show must go on.
