Comments: ARM'd Combat doesn't fit neatly into any one category. It's more like an action/adventure film than a typical amv. Basically it's an episodic action/drama about the mecha battles of Full Metal Panic. It is not simply constant action. Each episode contains an action start, followed by elements of suspense and drama leading to a climax and a wrap-up scene. There are also certain elements such as force waves and even a gatling gun which are synched to various quitar riffs and drumbeats throughout the vid.
The first segment deals with the rescue of the schoolchildren from the terrorists, while the rest of the vid deals with Souske's battles with Gauron and his former childhood friend turned adversary. The last battle might not deal with the adversary you would expect, but the footage from the series matched up with the song much better this way.
