So, ever since I heard the song "Mr. Brightside" by the Killers I've wanted to do a video to it. I just couldn't seem to find an anime that would fit with the lyrics. But it's one of my favorite songs, and I've kept it in the back of my head as I've made my way through various anime series. So, when I finally managed to watch Ouran High School Host club, I thought booya!...there it is. :) This is my first venture from the Action category into the Romance realm for AMVs, and I have to say it's been surprisingly tough. Mainly because I insisted on it having a happy ending (Yeah, yeah, I know. How old am I again?) and I did NOT want it to be cheesy or overly fluffy. Hopefully I succeeded.
That being said, this is just a fun video that explores Tamaki & Haruhi's relationship. It mainly consists of Tamaki being paranoid and over-the-top in regards to Haruhi. Almost all of the vid is from his point of view, except for the end, where we see that Haruhi does return his feelings. I think that it's pretty true to the anime series in that regard as well.
