  I thought this music was ideal for a flashback-to-youth story like the one that takes up most of "The Place Promised in Our Early Days." The melodic line is almost playful, but it overlays a haunting, almost brooding background.
  
  This video was my entry in the 2007 Masters contest at Anime Weekend Atlanta. Using only 26 scenes, it is an intentional exercise in minimalist storytelling. Perhaps too minimal for most people since there is no clear resolution. As for her secret, or the words she says to him...no one else will ever know.
