  This opening sets the tone for the whole video. Everywhere Kenshin turns, he is surrounded by death by the sword. After being taught the way of the sword by his master (Hiko), he ventures out in hopes to help defend the people of his country. He becomes an assassin. Yet in his efforts to defend the people, he has to turn his back to the ones he cares for and become cold. And in the snowy forest region of the land he goes off to face his most challenging opponent he had ever faced... his own trail of death and destruction he left in his efforts to make a peaceful world. As Kenshin continues to fight, he slowly begins to lose his mind. Only Tomoe, the one person he loves, could take his pain away. Can Kenshin overcome the struggle within, or will he simply become another cross in a war-torn world?
  
  This is my first music video in a long time, almost a year now. I've been playing around with some new strategies to go at them but haven't gotten any good inspiration until I listened to this band called 30 Seconds to Mars a friend showed me. I've been trying to steer clear of Kenshin for a while, seeing as I've done a lot with him already, but I haven't had the time nor the patience to rip any of my new anime. So here it is, the fruits of my labor.
  
  I found going at a slower work pace to be much more efficient on this video. I simply picked it up for an hour or two then put it down and did something else. It let my mind stay clear and open to new ideas. For a while, I had been throwing around the idea of starting my own studio for AMV.org, but I never really got around to it, and now that I'm studying game programming up at DeVry, I have little time to do so. I'm going to keep the Cypress Studios logo though, because I really like it. :P
