• Comments: This is my first attmept at a Samurai 7 video. I have to say that this vid is probably one of my best synced videos. This video is also the first of a three part video trilogy that goes through the entire series of Samurai 7. The first part of the trilogy goes through episodes 1-12 which is the first half. Each video will contain an instrumental song telling the events of those episodes. The first part shows Kanna Village highering the samurai and showing how each one was highered. After they higher the samurai they head back to Kanna Village but danger lurks around every corner making sure to destroy them before they reach the village. Some of the episodes arent shown in chronological order for example episode 3 and 12. I decided that footage from those certain episodes fitted better in different parts of the vid and suited that perticular part of the beat of the song. The only real effects in this video are flashy sequences. I decided to release this as an mpg then xvid since I wasn't getting the right performance that I wanted out of it. Xvid wasnt acting nice on my semi fast cut scenes and making them look more sped up then actualy were. The only downside of the mpg version is some black lines on the side of it which aren't really too noticeable but other than that the quality looks really close to its original dvd source.
