Three fourths the way through the semester and Thanksgiving break upon me, I needed an AMV break. I wanted to do something short and simple, so I picked a trailer that'd been sitting on my harddrive for a few years. It is the Princess Garnet trailer for Final Fantasy 9. ("In a land without dreams... lives a heart without hope..." etc.) Anthy was the perfect choice out of my small anime collection, and I knew off the top of my head what scenes I wanted, so capturing didn't take very long. I finished this trailer in about two hours. It is less than thirty seconds long, with no technical frills more fancy than a couple fades.
The main appeal of the trailer to me is the colorscheme. Every scene is heavily red, along with the dark purple of Anthy's hair. Warm colors with sad vocals/music combine to make a very 'comfortable' feeling video.
