• Comments: When I heard that Legaecy Productions was holding a music video competition, I jumped at the opportunity. I needed experience to make my videos shine. I have been told many times I have incredible potential, mainly [i]because[/i] of this video. Hopefully as the 'LP Idol' as they've dubbed it continues, I'll continue to improve, and maybe finish the video I'm working on simultaneously.
  
  So for the first round, any footage was allowed, from Dragonball Z to 90210 is you so desired. The music genre required was metal. We had about a week. A work/school week, meaning we have the weekend. XD So I figured the average entry lenght would be 30-50 seconds. I was right. Woot. But anyway, my first idea was [i]Lights and Sounds[/i] by Yellowcard, to Appleseed. I decided against it because I liked the idea so much that I would rather dedicate more time to it later to make a full video rather than a 30 second clip. On the way to school I was trying to think of an anime that would work well in that short a time slot. Then it hit me: That anime part from Kill Bill! I love that part of the movie, but it's short enough that it's very difficult to make a full video. So that was my anime. Then I pulled out my iPod and flipped through songs until I found something that worked. I came upon... meh. [i]Nobody's Listening[/i] by Linkin Park. GAH!! It's so perfect, but it's freakin' Linkin Park, kings of cliche. But wtf, I did it. It's not an incredibly overused song in the first place, and I wasn't using DBZ or FF or anything.
  
  The result was spectacular. I came out in first place in both votes and the judges' scores. This is my first video that was universally liked. Hopefully I'll do more soon.
