Okay, when I was watching the end of the Yu Yu Hakusho movie with my sister, me and her were joking around about how Sailor Moon-esque the ending was. Anyway, just to see if it would work, we decided to put the song "Power of Love" from the Sailor Moon R Movie: Promise of a Rose" to the end battle with Yakumo. And, scarily enough, without editting anything out, the song fit PERFECTLY. It's really very scary. So, I decided to make a video for it.
The video starts off with the actual movie, particularly when we think our hero, Yusuke, has been beat. Then, after about thirty seconds or so of dialogue, Yakumo goes "Huh?" and the music kicks in as Yusuke's powers do, just as it does in the Sailor Moon movie. Then, of course, the others (Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama) come in as the song continues to defeat Yakumo. I wanted to do it so I could keep the dialogue going with the music in the background, but the background music for the actual movie kept clashing with the music from "The Power of Love" and I couldn't get it balanced right. Therefore, I just kept the subtitles in so you could read what they're saying as the song progresses as if it really was playing during the end of the movie.
When the song ends, I cut to a final shot of Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei, and Kuwabara so I could have a conclusive end as opposed to having the entire movie continue to play out (as there's still about ten minutes left and that would be kind of obnoxious) to the end. However, that is the only scene cut in the entire video! And that's after the song! The entire video is uncut footage and it goes perfectly to the music. Like I said, it's pretty scary!
Anyway, enjoy this weird Yu Yu Hakusho Video with a Sailor Moon twist! It's fun and funny!
