When I really heard this song I was at a Billy Joel concert and he had dedicated this song to Pink who at the time was also attending the concert with her new husband…that Hart guy, lol, sorry for my lack of celebrity knowledge. Well, while the people started bring out their cell phones and started waving them around, I was trying my best to hear what he was singing with my ringing hears…what a show…
The song reminded me a lot of Kaoru, especially the line “She’s frequently kind and she’s suddenly cruel.” Hah, could we get any more Kaoru like? Lol, but of course…when I thought of Kaoru I first thought of Kenshin singing this…very, very vivid imagination. I had a whole other video in my head…okay, I’m gonna stop being crazy now…
This song is one very serious way of talking about Kaoru's personality, from Kenshin’s point view. It goes on about how Kaoru’s all these different things, these things that could be good or bad depending on which way you look at them. It talks about sometimes being childish, but still have maturity beyond her years. I feel throughout the manga, anime, movie WHATEVER Kenshin does express these types of thoughts towards her. It doesn’t have to be laid out…but in general this is what I think…
This video came out well and was simple to make because so many clips depicted the words being sung…
