A WELCOME AMV
Should there be an introductory Video that pops up whenever a new member logs in? It could probably showcase what they need to know about this site or how to make different AMVs. There could be an annual contest, or something, where a member makes the vid and submits it for approval. I just think that we could make people feel welcome when they arrive so they don't feel like they're a guppy jumping into a shark tank. Make 'em feel good!
? or
?
Almost as hard as fighting a Holy Paladin.

Pops up? No. Gives them the option to view it.... maybe. I would have to see how it was implemented.
This might require new coding, and new coding has always been an issue for the org, because our coders are all volunteers.

May or may not be relevant, but here's Phade's required viewing before you start editing.

Re: A WELCOME AMV
I'm thinking that a lew moving screenshots introducing basic aspects for newcomers (like, 1-2 logins, or 1-2 days old) would be way much better. Being honest, if I could skip an introductory video (which in most cases are long) I would probably do so. It's my case, though. I've seen this I'm mentioning on some other webs and while it looks very cool it's easy and fast enough.
It would be like a slideshow of 7-10 main screenshots on entering into catalog, forum, or whatever you think is more important. It isn't that necessary, but being realistic, it might help some people over the road. Some might get confused about so many items on the menues.

I think I may have missed some of the point of your topic, or changed it a bit,... might be somehow what you meant but it's more to the informative point on where to add, comment on, or edit videos information and getting help on specific things (forum)

Wait, which ones? There may be legal issues depending on which pics you're referring to.hasteroth wrote:ogodNya-chan Production wrote:I propose screening Guy07's pics upon entering the site to EVERYONE.
