Does that 20-second AMV I made belong here?

I mean, it's a good AMV. Definitely not great, it doesn't have all the flashy editing techniques I know how to do now, but that's because it was the first AMV I ever made. And for my first attempt at making an AMV, it is good in its own right. It has alot of fast-paced clips which I stole from some of my favorite animes, and the songs synchs pretty well (at least I thought so). Really though, do you think I should put an AMV on here with a runtime of about 20-25 seconds simply as a demonstration of my skills at that point in my "career"? Would anyone actually download it?

I don't think there's length restrictions, only completeness restrictions. Shorts are okay. In fact a lot of people appreciate shorts. In fact some of my favourite videos could be easily counted as shorts.
Betas are not okay. While the notion of 'completeness' in making anything is debatable, it should at least be a demonstrable work. Also consider what you'll think later - there's way too many frivolous deletion requests out there on "oh my god delete my first videos they suck, I don't want to ruin my reputation".

If you think it's complete, put it up. If you don't think, or if you think it's more a basic skill-demo than a real video - well, your choice, but I'd recommend getting feedback on it through other channels, i.e. getting people to look at it and tell them what they think and how you could turn your stuff into something more releasable.

I have a few 30 second amvs that I've submitted to AWA's short attention span contest. I don't recall even thinking twice about uploading them to the org. If you feel that your amv is complete, then by all means upload it.

I've shown the AMV to several friends and they all liked it. Most of them were pretty amazed that I could throw something together like that. What little feedback it has gotten on YoūTūbe has been all positive. I'm not going to add anymore to the video, as it's pretty complete as is. Plus, I only want to use the beginning portion of the song for this video, so really I can't add to it. I'll "polish" it a little before it goes on this site, though.

What the heck, I guess putting it on this site wouldn't hurt. Thanks again.
