WIP-Gurren Lagann-Rough Draft-Now with less stupid.

Okay so, hosted the file to a non-frowned-upon-uploading service. Sorry again about that other travesty of a thread. Hopefully we can get things off on the right foot this time.

Like I mentioned, it's sort of a rough draft. I have some graphical garnishes I want to put on it, but for all intents and purposes it's nearly done. Scenes are finalized, everything is synced properly as far as I can tell, etc etc etc. This is my first AMV, so I'm doing things this way instead of uploading to the site. If I made a silly mistake, I want to be able to correct it before uploading instead of having to pester someone for a revision.

As for the video itself, and what sort of thing I was going for, it's a bit on the longish side. It's near directly inspired by morethantoast's excellent only in dreams bebop video that I watched religiously years and years ago. Which basically makes it a sync AMV. There's already a good relation between the song's lyrics/tone and the series, so I tried to focus on that and recreate the buildups and exhilarating climaxes that Gurren Lagann is well known for.

oh, and if a mod sees this: if you could delete the other thread I would greatly appreciate it. Kind of an eye sore. Also: Embarrassing.
