I agree with you on the fact that to make your AMV really good, you need to put a lot of time and effort into it, and actually ENJOY making it. When searching on YouTube, I found lots of AMVs where the creators said things like "I made this AMV because I was bored" or "This only took me half an hour", and strangely enough, most of them weren't all that good. These people are missing the point. You don't make AMVs because you're bored, you make AMVs because you want to and you enjoy making them. You can't make a good AMV in a few minutes - really good AMVs can take weeks or even months to make. The creators of most of the good AMVs I've seen say things like "I had a lot of fun making this AMV" and "This took me a really long time to make, but it was worth it". My favourite AMVs are ones where the time and effort put into it really shows and you can tell how much the editor enjoyed making it.Really ENTERTAINING Amvs where the amv makers spend a lot of time to do a good amv...
Dont give some amv who are cheap, made by fans who just want to do a amv of their favorite amv without preoccuping of the quality of the amv.
