Opinion on beginning of this WIP

I was having a lot of trouble staring off this video. The beginning of the song is a bit strange to me and I was just wondering if you think that the way I did it works. I'm not sure I like the way I have it, what with the large blank chunks and all, but i think that it just might work. Maybe I should rethink the clip choices though...I'm not sure. :x Any input will be greatly appreciated.

The black works, not too sure about the scenes. The wiggle and noise didn't work out as wanted, imho.
