Bad output quality

Post by -Vyse- » Sun Jul 19, 2009 8:13 am

Hi folks!

I´m having problems exporting my amv with a proper quality.
I tried all different field options (None; Interlace Consecutive Frames; Always Deinterlace; Flicker Removal), but it still won´t do. Here´s an example how it looks like, the upper is the regular outcome and the lower is how it looks like when i set it to "interlace cons. frames":

...any suggestions how to clean the video? Would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

1) Don't use fansubs!

2) You should set the interlace to None, both for the project and the export.

Thanks for the quick reply....

Yeah, i wouldn´t use fansubs if the dvd was already available, but unfortunately it isn´t. And i want to refrain from importing expensive, untranslated dvd´s from japan.... sorry =/

Oh, and i was once again to quick to ask. Problem already solved!
I found the "progressive scan" option in the export settings, works great!
Sorry, i´m stupid... =P

NOPE, wrong!

Now, this is strange. If i just export a small clip with these settings, it looks perfect. If i save the entire Video, it´s messed up again. Even though the settings are all just the same!

How come?
