need help finding a song for asuma's death

I want to make an AMV that depicts asumas death but I can't pinpoint the song I need. I would like the song to be like the death of a parent/father. Ideally I will include the fight between him and Hidan but that needs to be charged with lyrics or action music. The music video will revolve around Shikamaru's perspective of who asuma was to him.

Overall... great song if you are thinking about making it from Shikimaru's perspective. I think the one thing it lacks is a climax. It stays pretty neutral the entire time. I will keep looking though. I think the song choice will make or break this AMV.

I agree with you, thats why I am looking for help. Thanks for the song, I'll definitely look into it. If worst comes to worst, I am thinking about using My Immortal by Evanescence. It has a good emotional base and a pretty sweet instrumental near the end. But I would kinda have to force the video to go along with the lyrics. Thats why Im still looking.

Just heard the song. Its really bad ass. I was thinking with the lyrics, "And tell me how you want this to be" and "I lose myself in everything you say" Have conversations between asuma and shikamaru when he is well and near the end when he is dying. With images of the fight going along with the drums but more creatively the placement of Shogi pieces and the resulting fight with Hidan and Kakuzu with the drums.

Awesome. Glad you liked it. If you like the music, I would recommend their first album (self titled). I haven't found anything else that gives the plot justice for your AMV idea, but I will let you know if I do. Let me know if you decide to go with "Last Song."
