Trailer AMV "The Wrestler"

Hi all, it's been a while since I last asked for advice but I've got a new project in mind and I could use some help finding the appropriate anime.

I want to make a trailer AMV for the new Mickey Rourke film "The Wrestler". The movie itself is getting great reviews and the trailer is well made too. What I'd like to do is use a fighting anime, but I'm really not that famliar with the fighting subgenre (slaps himself for being a man and not watching fight-anime). I've been thinking of twisting Dragon Ball Z or maybe YuYu Hakshuo for it, but let me hear your suggestions. The AMV needs to present the following scenes:

1. An aging or at least older tournament fighter in front of thousands of spectators, and still a badass
2. A daughter who resents him, but he still wants to love her
3. A new girlfriend
4. A part-time job away from fighting
5. Comradere with his fellow fighters
6. Family connections

Maybe I'm asking for too much, but let me hear what you all have to add to the suggested anime titles. Thank you.
