Question about making a long-term Op. Exch. Thread

Post by Tryptic » Thu Dec 25, 2008 9:11 pm

I had so much fun trying to do 25 Ops in 2 days that I'd like to continue offering free opinions for say, a year, (like 3 or 4 a week, or something like that).

I would like to know... should I just make 1 thread, and update it each time I'm ready for more requests? Or should I make a new thread each time I want to take another set of requests?
Or is there some other format I should follow? (Put something in my sig for a PM-based system?)
I'll do whatever will make it easier for you folks to moderate.

I think anything of those three things you mentioned works just fine, though the first two have an advantage of not getting your PMs spammed :<

I ran a long-term thread like theat, when I gave 1 OP at the time, and when I OPped I said it and another person was free to get one and it worked fine, but I suppose it's up to you :<

For batches of OPs, it would be better to make a new thread every time, I suppose~

you can set up specific rules like you only do 5 at a time - but have like "read the first post" in the thread title...

as for sig links - i'd probably put a link in my sig to a thread and not for pms...
