Flashing green bar on Lucky Star footage

Post by biggnife » Wed Dec 24, 2008 7:14 pm

I'm trying to rip some footage from my Lucky Star DVD's, but I keep seeing this flashing green bar on the left-hand side of the video. I thought nothing of it when I was working in VirtualDubMod and saved my footage as an AVI, but the green bar was still there. Am I doing something wrong?

Might be an error coming from a bad rip, in which case I suggest you to re-rip your dvds, maybe trying another program (assuming that you have the amvapp and therefor used dvd decrypter, I'd suggest giving DVD Fab a try) could work.
Another thing that might be causing the issue would be the filters, if you're loading your rip into virtualdub through an avisynth script... awarpsharp is known to cause that green junk problem with some resolutions.
