Masking: Needed or not?

AMVs its quite simple. THe future of amvs is no anime at all.

Saying that an amv has to have masking is just like saying
a certain genre of amv is better or saying that amvs can only be made to a certain type of music.
Thats all an opinion.

If you are making a video and think masking will work well in it, then go for it.
AMVs can be good with or without masking or other types of effects.

You pretty much aren't gonna get any other responses than what has already been said in this thread.

uh actually saying that you have to have masking is stricter than saying that you don't have to have masking....

no one is saying that you can't mask, its just not a REQUIREMENT for making an amv.
