Kumoricon 2008 AMV Contest - Judges' Panel COMPLETE!

HEY GANG!

We got OVER SEVENTY AMVs submitted this time!

HUGE PROPS to *ALL* you AMV editors!
This is going to be the BEST show EVER and
YOU GUYS are the ones who make it happen!

I'm still going through all the information the judges handed back to me.
This years contest will be bigger and BETTER than ever.

They have selected a Judges' Choice winner.
The rest of the prizes are determined by audience vote,
including a Best of Show.

In a surprise development, the judges enjoyed so many of the Action/Effects entries that they SPLIT the category in TWO - an Action category and an Effects category - so that an ADDITIONAL PRIZE can be awarded. You editors did a phenomenal job and turned in some exciting and beautiful works.

The contest playlist and categories will be posted shortly after the con (Labor Day Weekend, 2008) and also the category winners and other awards. The Judges' Choice will be announced at the convention as well. Award winners will then be contacted privately for shipping details for prizes received.

We are looking at close to TWO HOURS.
Selected entries came from FIVE U.S. states and NINE other countries.
