Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I realize this. I still have the program files, so if anyone can recommend anything to do with it in VDM it would help, especially to bring out the quality and the colors, as I realize it wasn't perfect and could have been far better than this....quality wise.

Well were the clips you downloaded (I'm assuming you downloaded?) good quality to begin with?

Yeah, they are. They were slightly less in quality than the final result. I didn't know exactly what to do in VDM, to bring out the colors and quality, without it looking overfiltered. It would help if some one could recommend some scripts, or what to do with the final product. The script I wound up using for the final version was:

converttoyv12()
deen("w3d",4,12,24,16)
SSXSharpen()
deblock()

There were very few noticeable blocks to begin with, but, I wanted to be on the safe side.

Does that help?

It might not actually be the script, but the actual container. If you put it in an mp4, most of the time it comes out good quality. I'm assuming you made the codec XviD?
