Can not connect FTP

I am new, and want to upload a video of mine. I have gone through the catalog part (and I THINK I did it correct the second time).

I go to the upload section and get the FTP info. I enter it into FileZilla (which connects FINE to my ISPs FTP), but it is unable to connect.

I also tried FireFTP - same result.

Is there a problem I am missing? Maybe I'm too 'noob' to UL?

first thing that seems to trip up a lot of people, make sure your firewall is turned to low or off (I just suggest off since there is no chance of it interfering then.)

after that, if you're still having trouble try typing your username and password very carefully (slow and deliberate keystrokes)
for some reason, the 'ol copy/paste tends to not work (at least not for me)
