Help in compression.

Recently, I made an AMV video using Song Vegas Pro 8.0 but after i render the video as Avi.. the video ended up to be 1.9 gig and the video is only 8 min. What program is best to compress it without losing quality?

avisynth + zarx264gui tends to do the trick pretty well. Just make sure your script includes the line:
ConverttoYV12()

i Tried downloading and installing the AMVapp Version 2.1 but in teh folder i can't find H.246 Tools folder which supposedly containing Zarx264gui.
