I agree. Also, telling someone to grow up while arguing with them kinda falls on your side. And telling people to gtfo when you haven't really gathered an ounce of strength to download the vid and give some sort of feedback when they already have falls on your side aswell. If you weren't going to post something about the amv, then I don't see why you posted at all.

Anywho, that is all. Like I said before, awesome vid Jeff.

and then reda owned cts and then it pretty much went downhill from there

anyways back to the vid
well I said it earlier, but still awesome amv man. and usually don't even like to watch naruto amvs, but this was very enjoyable. not a dull moment in the whole amv

I'm glad my many people enjoyed it.
I know their are a few technical issues but I am still very new to rendering.

I will read up on some "how too's" and re upload it.

Amv itself is not bad.

uh, I believe pointing out things you didn't like in a video is considered constructive criticism not flaming.

That interlacing (I see in the screen caps) looks like interlacing caused by an editing program either not having the project file in progressive or not having the export settings in progressive... I've had issues with that before.

I couldn't see the interlacing while I was watching it but thats probably because of how "fast" the scenes moved. however you can see its there in a still shot..

the filtering looked okay on some of the clips, and terrible on others... scale back on that warpsharp/mftoon/deen or whatever similar tool you are using, it blobbed several scenes and didn't look good... and the backgrounds look like chalk drawings.

also, way too colorful for the "drama" that is this song, and some of the people looked orange rather than a natural skin tone, it might not be such a good idea to saturate that much, unless you want your video to look like a clown...

lip sync = fail. Sorry I didn't like it, not good at all... if you were doing a comedy? maybe, but lip sync rarely works in action/drama for me.

The editing was pretty good for the style, but I don't happen to like this style of video. cut sync gets old after a while.

exactly. It's pity all the posts that let this make more sense have been deleted including what I said about the video itself, leaving half the flames on the thread with a bunch of gang banging ^w^.
lol apparently dloading a video requires "strength" these days if that's how people really think it is they should go back to youtube where they belong, lol.

to re-iterate: 6/10 not a bad video had a few technical issues already mentioned, unlike Aut I like Naruto as a series but there are so many videos to this, although 2 years is a huge amount of editing time O_O.

- Overused sources.
- editing seemed bland at some places, and then overdone in others.
- lyrical sync made it seem comic
- How can you say you were trying to capture parts of all stories when all you did was show a bunch of random action clips again and again?
- There was no real continuation with the action sequences. You would use one clip from one fight (during the chorus) and then jump to another and another.
- Overfiltered.
- Interlacing.
- Masking/borders at the end definately didn't fit in.
- Ending clip again made it feel comic.

Editing isn't bad. Definately some skill there, I just think that the song you were trying to edit to isn't quite up your alley. You were so keen on having the rapid feeling in your editing that you completely lost any kind of cohesion in the video. AMVs dont need stories, but generally it's good if a viewer can feel some kind of flow throughout. But with this video I felt it just didnt flow.

I'd be interested in seeing another action video from you with different sources, as there's nothing really wrong with your editing, just this particular matchup and some technical issues creates problems.

very entertaining as a random Naruto action vid. If there was something deeper then I wasn't able to see it. Nice editing overall, but I do agree with the lyric synch being way too obvious lol.

But as to what it is, it was enjoyable to watch for me
