Under mentioned anime

Post by Sukunai » Sat Feb 02, 2008 10:43 am

Ok we ALL know the popular names, they don't need to be mentioned, if you have not heard of them, then you couldn't possibly have any interest in anime in the first place (and thus won't care if you missed something considered worthy by some).

So, I am inquiring, of anime you have seen, but is apparently rarely mentioned.

And no, I am not asking for lame turkey award winners here :)

I KNOW there are good shows, they just don't get mentioned a lot.

Here's my list of "you might not have thought of this series" submissions for you.

Fancy La La
Happy Lesson
Kasimasi Boy Meets Girl
Madlax
Rizelmine
Vandread
Zegapain

I've enjoyed those.
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

x2 to NHK, its much better than Genshiken imo

My picks - the most underrated shows from 2007 which should be watched:

Terra e/Towards the Terra <- pure epic, that is all, a series remake of a 1980 anime movie
Seirei no Moribito/Guardian of the Sacred Spirit <- I believe Production I.G did the animation for this and it makes me sad that there are no AMVs making full use of its awesome action scenes because some of them are drool worthy ='(

Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.

There's nothing to worry about.

Gokusen was great.

There's also Puny Puny Poemi, by the same people who did Excel Saga. It's three episodes long and makes Excel look like Mr. Roger's Neighborhood.
