What were your thoughts?
I just finished watching Serial Experiments Lain on my brothers DVD's and I'm not sure if its well known because I generally avoid the hype because I find that it ruins the anime for me but if you have seen it what did you think of it? I personally loved it except until EGO I dont know why I just didnt like the ending that much..
I've got no soul to sell....

Sad thing is, even Japanese Taro-kun sounds stiff and wooden. I'm convinced it's intentional, though.Alucard_FoN wrote:I liked the series a lot. It was really good. But avoid the dub, the actors sound like wooden boards with all the emotion they put into it.
I love Lain. It's one of my favorite series. The surreal imagery combines with the abstract plot and storytelling to create a definitely unique series. The ending is confusing at first, yes, so I suggest watching it a few more times. ^_^

the whole SERIES was confusing. as far as the dub goes, I think it was an exellent job. YES, the actors are supposed to sound emotionless. Lain is a very emotionless anime. It focused more on what was going on in the world than with the characters. If you want emotional anime, go watch NG:E.
