Salon Manga Cadiz I AMV Contest (Cadiz, Spain)

Hi there! We are a spanish group organizing a manga convention at the south of Spain. For the first time we are making an AMV contest and would like to invite you all to participate!

Here are the rules:

1.- Entries per person are unlimited.

2.- Digital video file formatting requirements::
-DivX (Avi) or MPEG2
-720x540 Frame Size
-23.97 o 24 progressive FPS
-29.97 FPS (interlaced)
-44.1 kHz or 48 kHz 16 bit stereo uncompressed PCM audio
-MPG2 Bitrate must not exceed 15 Mbps
-2 seconds of blank space must be added at the beginning and ending of the AMV

3.- The contest will be Freestyle and will be accepting Anime and Videogames AMVs.

4.- Running time may not exceed 5 minutes.

5.- Entries may not contain bumpers/title screens/credits or any other forms of identification in the video. Subtitles are also forbidden.

6.- Entries will be sent in CD-R/DVD-R by mail to the following Address:

7.- Entries must include the entry form or a typed document including the same information:
Creator Name
Creator Studio
Name to be shown on credits
Video Title
Song Title
Video Source
Video Lenght
Contact information:
Address
Telephone
E-mail

8.- Entries will be judged before the II Salón del Manga de Cádiz. Editing, Sync and effects will be judged.

9.- Disqualifications:
Bad Audio or video quality.
Objectionable contents (excessive violence, sexually explicit footage or lyrics, racism, or lack of moral in any sense).
Presence of bumpers/title screens/credits or any other forms of identification in the video and subtitles.

10.- The judges resolution will be given to know during Saturday October 6 2007 during the II Salón del Manga de Cádiz at the projections room. Results will be made public at the II Salón del Manga de Cádiz website: www.aniraise.com

11.- The winning entries will be projected along with the best entries presented at the II Salón del Manga de Cádiz. There will be 3 prizes:
First Prize
Second Prize
Special mention
Any of the prizes can be declared deserted if considered appropriate. If not able to be present at the event and have won any of the prizes, they will be sent via mail to you.

12.- Entries submission deadline is Friday September 28 2007. All physical media (CD-R. DVD-/+R etc.) received become the property of Aniraise and will not be returned. Video submitted will be compiled into a DVD that will be published for the II Salón del Manga de Cádiz, after the contest. If any of the participants does not want his video distributed by this mean, he must indicate it in the entry form. All participants can ask for a free copy that can be picked up during the II Salon del Manga de Cadiz, although a limited number will be mailed to those who wont be able to come.

13.- The organization will not be held responsible in any case for loss or damage of any of the material sent.

14.- Anything not mentioned in these rules will be resolved by the judges.

15.- Participation in this contest means total acceptance of all of its rules.

Sorry for double post.

There has been some minor changes in the rules (nothing important or related to specific parameters):

We have eliminated the rule concerning AMVs already presented in other contests. Participants are now allowed to send in any video they want (as long as it theirs XD)
