101 case dents

Post by Mr Pilkington » Thu Dec 26, 2002 7:41 pm

Why is it my .avs files won't work?! I have reloaded the AMVapp, tried taking the Load .dll line(1). Still no function! I have renamed stuff, moved it all around, then placed it back in it's original place. I have tried it all still no function!! No matter what I try it says "unrecognizable exception!" However my previews from my last render still work(??)! There is one frame on the A/V edit track. Yet the green render bar on the top is still at it's full normal size, and functioning, as it should! It makes not sense. Help! Help!! At this point it has to be something stupid I just forgot to do. And before it's suggested, yes I did put the plug-in files in their correct place.

Are there any spaces in the path to your files?

'Cause there shouldn't be.

No, I use underscores inplace of spaces for fear of just such an incompatbility. I wish it were just that easy though.

Don't tell me things like that!! I don't think my computer can take another  pumbling. Besides I'm so close to being finished. There has to be somthing to do; I tried changing the file names, I tried calling it names, I even thretened it with broken beer bottles! Nothing, nothing works!! I'll try a different copy of DVD2AVI, but if that don't work I may be in the market once agian for a new case.

Well don't forget you can use DVD2AVI to export a AVI file :\

If you need just a clip to finish it off, then that would do it.
