Detailed information for new codecs/containers

Recently I've seen many editors switch to h264 and aac in mp4 and mkv. It would be neat to see the same bitrate/length/resolution information with these that you see with avi files when hovering over the download link. I have no idea if there are easy ways to implement this though.
