Yes. I decided to be a conformist bastard and create a Christmasy avatar like half the site has already done.
Behold: Mink in a Santa cap!!
Took me maybe a minute to make, so it's crappy, but behold it anyway. For it is Christmassy and it is almost Christmas, and all the damn lights and decorations are making me feel festive, dammit.
Dammit.

-Well, what I did was to make each individual frame in Photoshop. In the case of mine, Mink was already dancing (it's from the end credits), so I needed only open up the ending theme in Premiere, highlight the section I wanted, and export it as a Bitmap sequence. I then opened up all of the BMPs in Photoshop, copy-pasted each one onto a seperate layer, set the crop box to 80 px by 80 px at 72 dpi, highlighted the area I wanted to crop, and the whole thing became an 80 x 80 avatar. I then opened the PSD file up in Imageready, created a frame for each layer and went through and, starting from the top down, made each layer invisible one by one, revealing the layer beneath it. Adjusting the number of frames per section and the time each frame was shown allowed me to make Mink dance slightly faster than she does in the credits. Took me about an hour to make the Dancing Mink. The Santa cap, which I added in later by re-opening up the same PSD in Imageready and adding the Santa cap in each one, took about a minute or two to do.The Non-Professional wrote:think you can teach me how to make a moving thingy aVATAR MA BOB, i wanna make bobble head man kill the AMV town, i mean make it flater...![]()

For yours, you will have to edit and draw each frame manually first before you can open it up in Imageready and subject yourself to the torment of fucking around with the timing and number of frames to make it move at the right speed. Make each drawing a seperate layer and open up the Photoshop document in Imageready, fuck with the timing and layer visibility, and you will get it eventually.
If you don't have Photoshop or Imageready, I have no idea what to tell you.
Good luck!!
