NEthing stop you from editing?

Share if you like, things that get in the way of you editing besides work and school. Like things that involve your neighbor, friends, family, you hating your computer, video games, etc.. I always hear the college and work reasons, so don't share that.

I thought I'd use this as an excuse to share some troubles with editing.

I want to edit without wearing headphones, but I live in an apartment and my neighbor below me can hear my music a lot of the time, especially with the sub woofer, it shakes the walls. And what makes it worse, I usually get the urge to edit late in the night, my akira and I think 2 eva videos I made were done in the middle of the night. If I lived in the middle of nowhere, or maybe just had a house, I'd probably edit more.

Another thing is most of the videos I really want to make would take like 2 months to make, and I get impatient, and the idea of spending that much time on a video and not turning out the way I planned it keeps me from doing it. I like what I've done already in 4 hours which is about the average amount of time I spend on a video, though the ones I've been wanting to make the most since I started making videos have never been made, and that's kind of discouraging. I'm sick of the same typical videos I've made, also I think if I spent a little more time making a video it would end up looking around the same quality as the one I spent 4 hours on. I know I could do something a lot different and better if I spent a lot more time making these things like around 2 months or so, but things keep stopping me from doing it, one of the major things is I use to have the ability to remember where I want scenes in every second of the song, I didn't have to worry, I just listen to the song, know exactly what I want, listen to the song 5 months later and I still remember where I want everything and how I wanted to do it, now, I can't remember how I want everything as well anymore, and having ideas flow to me doesn't happen as often either.

So yeah, there's a few.. got anything stopping you yourself?

ROTFL! Anyway my reasons aren't as complicated and I'm single, for me it's just the fact that my computer freezes or my amv won't save out whenever I try something new and over the top T-T

The second is university... If I have to study I always find dozens of other things I can do, but i cannot concentrate on editing so I usually end up watching sth/playing some game and neither editing nor studying :S
