Contests in Louisiana?

I live in Louisiana, and I was wondering if there are any contests that take place in LA? Cause I never hear about them.

I'd also like to know if there are any contests held online? I saw a stickied topic about having online contests but nothing was really said nor done about having one there.

MechaCon has an AMV contest. It's held in Lafayette in August. You can read last year's rules here.

Thanks. It's also managable distance from where I live. I'll go check the rules for it.
