Hi people.. i know how to use VirutalDubMod but i was just wandering something. When I make a AMV and Render as an .Avi file and I want to reduce the size of the megabytes, so i open the video in the Vituraldubmod and i change the audio to Lame but i was wondering what Video Compression whould i choose?
P.S When i Render on Vegas 6.0 i make it Xvid Mpeg-4 Codec but the AMV is bigger then 100mb and i want it at least less trhen 100mb

Is the MPEG-4 XviD output from Vegas over 100MB with uncompressed WAV audio? Or is it still over 100MB after swapping the WAV with MP3 compressed audio?
How long is this video? A long video can easily go past 100MB.
Have you tried doing a second pass? Many times, doing a 2-pass encode will result in a smaller file without losing much quality.

And what resolution? Larger videos make bigger files. Try resizing it smaller.

Did you clean the video? It can help compressability.
